Nurse Aide Training Program

Nurse Aide Training Program

New admission standards in the Wright State University College of Nursing and Health require students to complete a Nurse Aide Training program as a prerequisite to beginning nursing coursework. The Nursing Institute is now offering the Ohio Department of Health Nurse Aide Training program.

Our university-based program provides a more in-depth and extensive educational opportunity than what can be found in other trainings. The 107.5 hour program includes lecture presentation, laboratory practice and clinical application in a Long-Term Care facility. Upon completion, the student is qualified to take the State Nurse Aide test in order to work as an STNA (State Tested Nurse Aide).

This program is available to persons in the community, if seating space permits.  Priority seating will be given to Wright State University nursing students.

Cost: $579
