How do we help our students succeed?
The CoNH recognizes that there are specific concerns that arise when studying nursing. We are committed to excellence in nursing education. Faculty members are available for assistance outside of class through phone, email, or office hours.
Open Lab Hours
Open lab hours are also posted for the Nursing Simulation Learning Resource Center (Skills Lab) and online, allowing you to practice skills and receive additional instruction. Open Nursing Lab Registration
Student Success Program
A student success program has been established to help future nurses like you succeed as a student and on the Registered Nurse licensure exam. Small group programs and one-on-one sessions are offered for topics such as study skills, time management, test-taking skills, and adjustment to the nursing program. You may also be directed to appropriate resources within the university.
A faculty member may refer you to the student success coordinator or you may ask for assistance with questions or concerns about your progress in the program. You may simply wish for some reassurance that you are on the right track. The student success coordinator may reach out to the you to discuss topics such as gaps in progress (taking time off) or previous course failures.
The student success coordinator coordinates the remediation component of the CoNH comprehensive exam policy. You may also ask questions related to the application for licensure and the NCLEX® (National Council of State Boards Licensure Examination).
